History of the name
The name of the hotel refers to the perfect composition of Sterling silver;
Guanajuato is known worldwide for the exploitation of its mines. One of the main metals that were, and continue to be extracted from its mines for centuries, is silver.
The name of the hotel refers to the perfect composition of silver, which must contain at least 92.5% pure silver, in order to bear the name or denomination of STERLING SILVER. Stamped on silver objects and coins with the number 925, to guarantee its purity.
